Most home networks should not have two "Default Gateways," and particularly a single NIC shouldn't have two of them.  Did you do this deliberately?  Is the second Default Gateway related to your virtual machine?

Close the programs which are running in the background - My router not pinging correctly

Part of the reason why old desktop take so long to start and various errors is because of all the applications you've installed. Reducing the number of applications which start-up when Windows boots enables you to get to the desktop faster and increases the memory available.

At the right side of the taskbar, click the arrow to display the notification icons. Each is a program that loads with Windows. Some are essential - antivirus software for example - but others may not be. Right click each one and if there is a Settings menu, select it and turn off the option to start automatically with Windows. Some programs, such as Google Drive, can be manually started when they are needed instead of running all the time.

System Restore - My router not pinging correctly

System Restore can return your computer's system files and programs to a time when everything was working fine, potentially preventing hours of troubleshooting headaches. It won't affect your documents, pictures, or other data. Please back up important changes(files, documents) before you perform system restore.
